US Biosystems is a full service analytical laboratory with state of the art instrumentation, first class facilities and experienced analytical and management staff. We are focused on one goal “to meet and exceed our client's expectations”. We have the capacity to perform both large and small projects and support your needs in almost any remedial or environmental challenge.

Capacity

US Biosystems is positioned successfully to manage large scale, high volume projects. The laboratory is a fully staffed 30,000 square foot facility and is the largest environmental testing laboratory in the state of Florida . The facility is routinely staffed six days for eighteen (18) hours and as required by client needs, staffing on Sunday is also accommodated. Our instrument capacity and staff coverage provides us the resources to meet our normal turnaround of five (5) business days as well as rush turnaround of twenty-four (24) hours. The laboratory utilizes a sophisticated capacity management system to monitor the capacity levels, production and efficiency.

We are structured to accommodate the small one sample project to the large multi-faceted projects with thousands of samples, analyzing for a host of biological, inorganic and organic parameters. In case of instrument failure, the laboratory has backup equipment and redundant systems built into every analytical station.

US Biosystems provides environmental testing of groundwater, surface water, drinking water, mixed wastes, solid wastes, hazardous wastes, petroleum products, soils, air, resins and other process wastes.

Procedures are performed by approved methodologies including, EPA, ASTM, Standard Methods, and USACE. Methods are applicable to RCRA, CWA, NPDES, SDWA, TSCA, CLP and other testing requirements.

Certification

US Biosystems holds multiple state and federal certifications to perform certified testing on all common matrices. Our quality assurance program follows the procedures dictated under National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAC) and is recognized nationally as meeting and exceeding guidelines for the generation of accurate, legally defensible data. US Biosystems was certified in the first round of audits for NELAC and was commended by the auditing staff for professionalism and commitment to quality. The laboratory staff is very knowledgeable and efficient in the execution of their laboratory responsibilities.

Instrumentation

US Biosystems have outfitted the laboratory with state-of–the-art instrumentation, equipment, and data processing software and computer systems. The laboratory is equipped with the latest and most sophisticated analytical testing equipment available.

The laboratory is equipped with a sophisticated Windows 2000 network, 3-Com switches, Cisco firewall, Pentium based workstations, and centralized data reduction is performed on a high speed UNIX operating system with an Oracle database Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
